The Beninca FTC.S is a synchronized surface-mounting photocell sensor designed to improve safety and control in automated gate and barrier systems. Operating on a 24 VAC/DC power supply, this device functions as a photoelectric safety sensor that detects obstacles in the gate’s path, preventing accidental closing when a person, vehicle, or object interrupts the infrared beam. It is supplied as a pair of transmitter and receiver units that work together to create a protective detection zone across the gate entrance.  Designed for external installation, the FTC.S photocells feature a compact and durable housing suitable for outdoor environments. The sensors are typically mounted on posts or gate columns and can also be installed on compatible aluminium columns such as COL05N, COL10N, and COL12N. The system supports synchronization of up to four pairs of photocells, allowing multiple safety sensors to operate simultaneously without interference in larger access control installations.  With a detection range of approximately 20–25 meters, the FTC.S provides reliable monitoring for residential entrances, parking areas, and industrial gate systems. Its robust design and stable operation help ensure safe and efficient gate automation by preventing collisions and protecting users and vehicles during gate movement.
